A Glamorous and Fun Elmore Court Wedding
So it’s taken me a while to post this amazing wedding of my best friend, Danielle & the gorgeous Tom. This Elmore Court wedding was full of fun, food, booze and music – all the best stuff!
They got married in May this year at the stunning Elmore Court in Gloucestershire and were blessed with great weather so guests could enjoy the indoors and outdoors of this stunning venue.
Elmore Court Wedding – May 2016
I was lucky enough to be a bridesmaid and was even luckier that Danielle chose me a stunning Ghost dress to wear at this Elmore Court wedding. It really was the perfect English Summer wedding.
THE DETAILS:
What Danielle wore: Tarik Ediz – she was a real stunner in this figure-hugging, chic dress with pewter beaded embellishment and the most stunning back you’ve ever seen!
What Tom wore: Oscar Milo – he was understated and chic and Tom’s suit reflected his personality perfectly.
What the bridesmaids wore:Â Ghost – we each had a different style to reflect our personalities and body-type and the colour was ‘Silver Lake’. We received so many compliments on these dresses, Danielle definitely made the right choice.
Photographer:Â Laura Power – I think you’ll agree once you’ve seen the photos below, that she did an amazing job!
Florist:Â Amber Persia – simple and stunning and perfect for the setting (the table plan was her idea too!)
Venue:Â Elmore Court – an exclusive use venue set in vast grounds – the real wow factor!
Band:Â Oh My God it’s the Church! – absolute nutters but awesome and really know how to get the crowd going (probably not a choice for the more traditional/serious weddings out there).
DJ:Â Amy McKnight Music – in essence, you can’t find a better DJ!
The good thing about an Elmore Court wedding is that you can take over the whole house, which is ideal for the bride (and groom) getting ready. The bridesmaids joined Danielle early in the morning and spent the morning chatting, laughing, getting ready and listening to the Dirty Dancing soundtrack.
It was such a privilege to be able to help Danielle get ready and into her absolutely STUNNING dress and we all filled-up when we saw just how perfect she looked.
THE PROCEEDINGS
The day started with a romantic civil ceremony in the main house before guests were led out into the beautiful lawned gardens for cocktails and bubbles where we welcomed the happy couple. The canapes were delicious and the grounds were absolutely stunning.
We were then led to the amazing ‘Gillyflower’ which is Elmore Court’s purpose built venue for dining and dancing, that adjoins the main house. The table settings were simple and stunning, with the centre-pieces giving the wow factor. I adored their table plan, which was beautifully written onto a 6ft gilded-framed mirror.
Â
Following dinner, the dance-floor was revealed and the party began. We were treated to some awesome tunes from DJ Amy Mcknight and then the headline band shocked, surprised and delighted the guests. I won’t say too much about The Church here, but definitely check them out as they’re by no means you’re average function band…they are so much more!
Danielle and Tom didn’t opt for the usual wedding cake and instead went for a Cheese Cake, which as a cheese lover, was a great touch for those late night munchies.
Elmore Court has some stunning grounds and even a fire pit to sit around outside, so there was plenty of places for the guests to explore. In the main house are a number of stunning bedrooms, which is perfect for the bridal party and family to stay over and the rest of the guests were housed in b&bs and hotels in the surrounding areas.
 Â
If you’re looking for a venue for your wedding, then an Elmore Court wedding surely won’t disappoint. Offering the couple exclusive-use of the venue, it really does offer the perfect private party house and venue!
