Take the Hassle.com out of cleaning!

If you’re anything like me, you’re not that into cleaning the house. I mean I’m not totally useless, but I’m also not very good at cleaning and don’t enjoy it that much. Being 29 weeks pregnant too means that it’s an increasing struggle.

So when I heard about Hassle.com I got seriously excited! It’s essentially an on-demand cleaning service where you can find a cleaner in your area for either a one-off clean, or something more regular. The cleaners are reviewed and rated and even have a profile on the website, so you know what you’re getting into. There is a flat rate of £10 per hour and you book and pay online, so for busy people, it’s a dream!

We’ve recently renovated our basement (more on that to come), so the house has been full of boxes, dust and mess for 8 weeks now. It had got the point where we weren’t able to clean properly as there just wasn’t the room. So we’ve patiently waited for our basement to be completed before we could embark on a super tidy and clean. So what better time to book our Hassle.com cleaner?!

I popped our postcode into the website, stated that I wanted a 3-hour clean and ticked the box to let them know I have a pet :-), clicked the search button and Bob’s your uncle, I was given a selection of reputable local cleaners. I then filled in my details and submitted the job. Within hours, I was notified by Hassle.com via email, that one of the cleaner’s had accepted my job and would be meeting me at the house on the chosen date. Job done!

And our cleaner Lorraine was brilliant! I bashfully explained our issue with dust after all the work on the house and she got straight down to it and within 3 hours, it was like we had a new house! I couldn’t believe the amount that she was able to do in such a short time. I feel like I’ve got my home back and can’t thank her enough.

Moral of the story is…if you don’t like cleaning, use Hassle.com! It’s easy to use, can be done on your phone and great value for money.
