My Mother’s Day Wishlist from Anthropologie

My love affair with Anthropologie started many a year ago, back when I was 21. Back before they had a store on Regent Street in London and before anyone in the UK had even heard of it. So I consider myself a true and loyal fan of their unique designs and beautiful textiles.

I have quite a few Anthropologie pieces in my wardrobe, mainly dresses, as I find their styles flatter my curvy shape more than other brands on the high-street. My hubby also likes the unique designs, which is always a bonus.

I also love their home range and although not cheap, it’s really good quality. When the day comes that we upsize to a bigger family home, I’m certainly kitting out my kitchen with their gorgeous plates and ceramics.

So whilst I was day-dreaming about Anthropologie, as I often do, I thought why not put a sort of wishlist together and with Mother’s Day coming-up, any male readers of my blog, might find some inspiration for their mums or partners. (And any female readers can just have a field-day shopping because, well, why not!).

And then this got me thinking even more, why not do a wishlist each day, leading up to Mother’s Day.

So here we go…

The Embroidered Shirt dress

I adore this, think it’ll make the perfect Spring to Summer dress and look how pretty the lace embroidery is (oh and easy access if you’re breast-feeding!).

The Marble Cheeseboard

I love the combination of marble, wood and metallic here. Super stylish…me likey!

The Dishes

I want this whole set! I love unique tableware and this hand painted floral design is soooo pretty.

The Necklace

I adore this necklace. It’s large but yet not brash or over the top. I think it’d look fab with any of the Anthropologie dresses.

The Organiser

And because I love stationery and formulating a good list, what’s better than a desktop organiser pad. Even this is so pretty!

Well there’s Day 1 of my Mother’s Day Wishlist complete. An ode to Anthropologie.

What are you buying your mum this weekend? Or are you a mum yourself and hoping for a little treat?
