Feeling the love
Yes it’s nearly a month since Valentines Day and no it’s not my anniversary. It’s just Saturday 8th March and I wanted to write a post about love. Why the hell not?!
I’ve written about positivity before and the effect it has on me as a person and how sometimes I have to consciously remind myself to be positive and look on the bright side of things. When you’re positive, you radiate this energy and positive things are attracted to back to you. It’s the same with love.
I think it’s easy to take love and those that love us for granted sometimes. Especially when you’ve been with someone for a while, the honeymoon period is over and you live together. You don’t always find the time or excuse for grand gestures like you used to when you first started dating and you don’t always make time for each other. I think hubby and I sometimes fall victim to this ’emotional laziness’. Don’t get me wrong, we’re best friends and love each other unconditionally, but I know I don’t always show him and vice versa. We just expect that each other knows it…well that’s just boring!
So I’m taking a love vow…a vow to not become complacent with my emotions and how I show them. This is not just with hubby, it’s with friends and family too. If you have people that love you, that’s a wonderful thing and it should be cherished! It should make you feel happy, warm and fuzzy inside and all those things…
So watch out hubby…date nights are being reinstated with a renewed vigour. Watch out friends and family…touching expressions of love are working their way to you via text, email and carrier pigeon!
Love, smile, be happy!
