10 THINGS TO DO BEFORE 2015 – 2 MONTHS IN
Back in September, I realised that the year 2014 was running away with me and there was a lot I’d like to achieve before the year end. A month ago, at the beginning of October, I re-capped where I was up to with these 10 things and if I’d achieved any of them…in short, I hadn’t done too well.
Now, 2 months on, I thought I’d better see where I’m up to and give myself a kick-up-the-bum if needed. So here we go…
1. Lose 10lbs
I’ve yo-yo’d up and down over this last month, with a few lbs on, then a couple off, then a couple more off, then a few on and now I’m back losing each week. So all in all, I’ve lost 2lbs since my starting weight in September. That means I’ve got 8.5 weeks to lose 8 more lbs. I know I can do this! Easy peasy lemon squeezy (eek!). It means I need to maintain my 1lb per week loss, that I know I can do with Slimming World. So i’m feeling good about this goal.
2. Attend a Twerk Out Class
Not achieved yet! There never seems to be the time – but I so want to try this lol.
3. Cook a 3-course meal
Not achieved yet, I didn’t even do it for hubby’s birthday. Bad wife! Again, with a hectic couple of months and trying this diet, cooking a 3-course meal hasn’t come on the radar. But I suppose I could cook a 3-course Slimming World meal. There’s so many awesome recipes I haven’t tried yet.
4. Take photos of my hubby!
Done . I love this one of him relaxing on holiday.
5. Go swimming
Not yet – but I’m getting myself to the swimming baths soon!
6. Plan a holiday for 2015
We’ve got the dates pencilled-in, now we’ve just got to work out what we’re going to do…but I’ve got lots of ideas and can’t wait to share them with you.
7. Have a girly night out
This sort of happened by accident and was a girly and boy night out in the end! But I definitely needed it and it was definitely a laugh!
8. Finish decorating our bedroom
Almost – have a couple of finishing touches and then I’ll pop some pics on here.
9. Learn to ski
Done a taster session and hoping to book some further lessons in the new year, so don’t think I’ll be accomplished by 2015, but I’ve certainly made a start.
10. Get to 150 blog posts
138…so I’ve got fit in 12 before the year ends. Better get cracking hadn’t I!
