Luxury Christmas Dining Room – it’s all in the detail
[#ad – This is a paid collaboration with Juliette’s Interiors – however, the content is entirely my own thoughts and as always, I wouldn’t share with you, if I didn’t genuinely love it!]
It’s never too early to be thinking about Christmas is it? This year, we have a full house, joining us from all over the globe and the bit I’m most excited about, is having us all sat around one table, eating, drinking, chatting and laughing. So naturally, my head goes straight to thoughts of “what tableware and cutlery will I use?” and “how will I style our dining table?”. And of course, I’ve let my imagination run wild and have spent a little too much time on Pinterest (there’s worse things aren’t there?), which has resulted in me creating a festive mood board of the perfect no-holds-barred luxury Christmas dining setting…
Luxury Christmas Dining
Now, I can’t pretend that my own dining room is quite this sumptuous…YET! But we’ll get there. Taking inspiration from the amazing luxury dining furniture at Juliette’s Interiors, in Chelsea, I’ve compiled the most perfect Christmas dining setting, with touches of Italian glamour, a hint of art deco and enough gold to make you consider wearing sunglasses indoors (if you can’t go for gold at Christmas, when can you?!).
So here it is…
Luxury Christmas Dining Table
It all started with the most beautiful luxurious Christmas Italian dining table which just set my pulse racing – I mean look at it…
It’s absolutely perfect in every way. The Black Zebra marble, glossy brass legs (a lot like mine!) and contemporary yet timeless chic, it’s the perfect centrepiece for any luxury Christmas dining experience, don’t you think?
So naturally, once I started down that rabbit hole, I fell well and truly down it! From marble dining table to Italian dining chairs. Naturally, I couldn’t pick between the two styles, so I’ve decided my Christmas dining table will have alternate chairs, because, well, why not?
Luxurious Christmas Decorations
With the dining table and seating sorted, I moved onto the bar (naturally). First, in my opulent Italian art-deco inspired Christmas setting, I’d opt for this beautiful Italian cabinet to form the centre of our Christmas bar, adorned with gold-rimmed crystal champagne flutes and cocktail glasses.
Make a statement
And of course, no Christmas dining table would be complete without a statement place setting. Of course I’d opt for black and gold cutlery and art-deco inspired tableware. If you’re going to go for it, go for it right?
Gold Christmas Accents
I then stumbled across this decorative feather tray dish, 3 of which would be scattered across our table top, with Christmas Ivy and candles for warmth and glow. Black and gold baubles would dangle proudly from our Christmas tree and a luxurious gold wreath would drape across the mantelpiece. Perfection right?
When I came up for air, I realised just how opulent my luxury Christmas dining setting had become and thought that it was just missing one thing…
Yup, a gold palm tree floor lamp – if that doesn’t spell Christmas I don’t know what does! (Okay, so maybe I just want this in my dining room all day, every day).
So there we have it, my luxury Christmas dining mood-boards, inspired by the truly stunning pieces at Juliette’s Interiors. Although I can’t promise my real-life setting will be quite this opulent, I’ve definitely inspired myself to get shopping and planning, as Christmas is only a heartbeat away.
So what do you think? What would your luxury Christmas dining room look like?
