Merci Maman Jewellery
Merci maman – what does it mean? Literally it means “thanks Mum” and in terms of jewellery, it means simply stunning. I’m a mum, I love jewellery and I now own two pieces from the wonderful Merci Maman Boutique.
My first is the tree of life bracelet, which is rose gold plated and is one of my favourite pieces of jewellery and other than my engagement ring, is the one piece that gets commented on every time I wear it. It’s very unique, chic and wearable. I had mine personalised with some words that mean something to me and cherish it dearly.
My second piece is a necklace, plated in three colours of gold and it’s brightened up these cold, wintery days we’re having…
With crisp, cold but sunny wintery days becoming more common, I love nothing better than to relax with a cuppa and a big cuddly jumper (it always takes me a few hours to wake up properly on a weekend). I pick my jewellery pieces for the day (which often dictates my outfit) and prepare for the day ahead.
Recently I went for a day out in St Albans and headed out for brunch with my bestie. This place was amazing and did lots of gluten free cakes (perfect from by bestie) and I adored this polenta, lemon and lime drizzle cake. Seriously delish.
Isn’t she gorgeous!? By the way, this is Danielle, my bestie of 20 years (wow!) and we’re working on an amazing project together. So watch this space as it’s launching soon!
Heading home, I couldn’t resist taking a few shots in this doorway. Who doesn’t love a good old public loo? This one made a great backdrop for my photos (who would have known?).
And I may have had house-envy when I walked past this front door…
What I wore
I’m wearing the Dice Trio Necklace, which I had personalised with mine, my husband’s and my daughter’s initial on each cube. The three metals that the necklace is plated with are: 18k rose gold, 18k gold and sterling silver. Something for everyone and to go with every outfit! You can choose and totally personalise – how awesome is that?
My shirt is from Topshop – a similar cold-shoulder shirt is in the sale now, but I love this one as it has bees on which remind me of the Manchester bee symbol.
My jeans are from Gap and I live in them – they fit so well on my curvy hips and bum and are super comfy.
My espadrilles got their last run out for the year and are from Cath Kidston – Shop Bags, Accessories & Fashion(you’ve probably missed out on getting them this year, but definitely keep your eyes peeled next Spring).
