Solo Female Travelling

My mother recently went travelling to Canada, on her own for the first time in my life. My Dad isn’t big on travelling and doesn’t like to fly, so in the past, mum and I always travelled together. The two of us have been to Europe, Canada, America, Fiji, Australia, Hawaii and many other amazing places in our trips abroad and loved discovering new places. But when I had my daughter, travel changed slightly for me, was less frequent and laissez-faire for a while, as I had a newborn to consider.

Getting Ready for Festival No.6 and Win Tickets to attend too!

So Festival season is definitely upon us – you only have to look out the window, at the drizzly grey skies and know it’s British summertime! I’ve got to say, since becoming a mum, we thought our festival-ing days were long behind us…until…we heard about Festival No.6! Our partying days are not over. We can still say “we’re going to a festival” when all our single twenty-something friends regale their hedonistic summer schedule. We can still wear denim shorts, wellies and a rain-mac with the best of them! Phew!
