Frickin’ Hell Mann Burger at Almost Famous

I’ve not written a foodie post in a while, so this one will knock your socks off! Like burgers? Like Mac n’ Cheese? Yeh I thought so! Well you will be drooling at the limited edition Frickin’ Hell Mann Burger that was recently available at Almost Famous. It was pure bliss!

Basically, the awesome household name (and sauce) Hellmann’s teamed up with the wicked burger joint Almost Famous, to bring a limited edition burger that showcased two of their delectable sauces. Skiing in Flaine – Part 3

Continuing in my Skiing in Flaine series, I’m now onto the good stuff…the food!

I spent a lot of time eating while I was away, as to be honest, it was just too tempting not to. The weather was stunning – sunny and warm, so we spent every lunch time sitting outside enjoying lunch.

Each day, the rest of the gang would get up early to get a few runs in before lunch. I’d potter about and play with the little lady until about 11am, when we’d get our bits together and go for a stroll. After one day, I realised that although not the worst snowy conditions, it was still tricky to get about on foot (especially with a pram), so I quickly got into the spirit of the slopes and bought some Moon Boots. These seriously made it easy to get about and kept me stable on foot (which was extremely important when carrying a baby!). Continue reading

Burger and Lobster Manchester

Having eaten at the Soho branch in London before, I was so excited when I heard that Burger and Lobster was opening a branch in Manchester and popped my name on their mailing list straight away.

Unfortunately we missed the soft launch (gutted), as I was 38 weeks’ pregnant, but we made it out on our 1st night-out without the bubba a couple of months later. And we weren’t disappointed.

The restaurant is huge – taking over a stunning old building on King Street in Manchester (right by Jamie’s Italian). I mean it’s seriously vast! We went on a Friday night and as expected, the place was packed with happy diners wearing bibs and happily tucking into their lobster. Continue reading
