So a couple of weekends ago, I hosted a dinner party with some friends (and without toddler) at out home and guess what? I didn’t have to cook, I didn’t even have to wash up and I actually got to relax, chat with friends and enjoy myself. Want to know how? It’s because it wasn’t just any dinner party – it was a private chef dining experience with La Belle Assiette….
One thing I love about being a Mum and a Blogger, is getting to discover some amazing new brands and small businesses that are just doing their thing and doing it well. So when I was asked if I’d like to take a look at some of the collection from Goose and Friends, written and illustrated by Laura Wall, I was intrigued as it wasn’t a character I’d heard of before.
As soon as I opened the package, I was hit with the bright colours and beautiful illustrations and it was impossible not to get excited. My toddler daughter was itching to get her hands on the books too, so Goose and Friends have obviously got something right…Continue reading
I’ve had a rather foodie January so far and I am not complaining! I used to be the go-to person to ask where to eat or drink in Manchester, but since having Flo, I just don’t get the time to get out as much and the things I look for in a restaurant are slightly different as I usually have a toddler date! So it’s nice to get back “on the scene” and try some new places, sans toddler. One of those places was 1761 Manchester, somewhere that’s been on my radar for a couple of months, but I’ve only just got round to visiting. So I nabbed a friend and we scheduled in a lunch mate-date!
