Blog On 2015

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Blog On 2015 conference at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester.

I’d booked my ticket last year at a bargain price of about £30 and the next thing I knew, it was May Bank Holiday and the blogging event was upon me. I had no idea what to expect, never having attended in previous years, but the Facebook group and bloggers on Twitter all seemed a friendly bunch, so I knew I’d be in good hands.

I turned up with my roller suitcase (yes, you heard me right, we were told to bring a suitcase for all the goodies we’d be getting) at 9am and made my way to the registration area. Straight away I bumped into a couple of familiar faces – lovely bloggers that have attended my #WeBlogMCR meet-ups. Continue reading

Benefit Roller Lash – Curl’s Best Friend Tour

Now I am by no means an expert in cosmetics or doing my own make-up, but I absolutely adore the Benefit brand! And their new product Benefit Roller Lash is the latest mascara you need in your collection.

Pink, pink and more pink. There was checkerboard flooring, pink blankets and a cocktail/mocktail bar. This was the setting for the Benefit Roller Lash ‘make-uppers’ that they’d be offering across 3 days in Manchester. And there were little sample freebies on offer…What more could a girl (or mascara-wearing guy) want?!Continue reading

Second wedding anniversary

Our 2 year anniversary

I couldn’t let this day pass without an ode to my boy.

2 year anniversary

Hubby, you have been the best thing to ever happen to me and you continually are my rock. You hold me up.

You are brave, ambitious and motivated.

You are loving, compassionate and kind.

You are incredibly talented and I am always in awe of the things you achieve.

2 years ago today, I got to keep you forever, officially. That was, and still is, the best day of my life yet. But I think that day might get a run for its money this summer and I can’t bloody wait.

With all my heart, always.
