Shrek The Musical – One of the Best Stage Musicals I’ve ever seen!

Last week, I had the pleasure of a #matedate with the lovely Fiona of Greedy Sisters, at the Palace Theatre in Manchester. We were off to see a show, that’s an adaptation of a film I absolutely love – Shrek The Musical.

There were a few of us bloggers from WeBlogNorth going along and in honesty, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect of the show. It was nice to arrive to a mixed crowd of families, young-uns and singletons, so the atmosphere was already fantastic. I’d never been to the Palace Theatre in all the years I’ve lived in Manchester. My Tattoos – Why I got them, the pain and regrets

I now have 4 tattoos in total, my first one I naughtily got when I was 17 and is lovingly nicknamed my “tramp stamp” by my hubby (such a way with words!) and my forth one I got just 2 months ago at the age of 31! I actually got 2 tattoos at the same time and I love my new tattoos…

Although two have been pretty spontaneous, they are both small and represent a time, place and feeling that I wanted to lock in time…and I know I’ll never regret those. The other two took a lot more thought and designing and again, although my first tattoo isn’t something I’d necessarily choose now, I don’t regret it as I like the look of it and remember the reasons why I chose it (and I designed it myself, so know that no one else has the exact same thing on their body!). Continue reading

Crazy For You Tour Manchester – A must see!

If you follow me on instagram, you may know I’ve been a bit quiet lately due to a cold, sickness bug and exhaustion being pregnant with a toddler that doesn’t sleep! (Oh the joys!). So it’s been a rough couple of weeks. But the total highlight of this last fortnight and luckily, something I was well enough for, was going along to the Manchester Opera House to see the Crazy For You Tour Manchester….Continue reading
