Birchbox Number 2 – a selection of body goodies

I get extremely excited each month when the lovely little Birchbox package arrives on my desk. Who doesn’t like having a present to open each month?! And the branding is so cute.

I’m only on my 2nd box and am still impressed with the selection of samples Birchbox sends (you can also see my post on box No1).

I’ll get straight into it. Inside this month’s box is:

birchbox no2 contents

Aromatherapy Associates ‘Revive’ Body Gel – this smooth gel smells sensational and instantly brings back memories of being in a spa. It absorbs quickly into the skin and claims to even out skin tone and texture and to maintain a healthy micro-circulation. I can’t wait to use this as part of my daily routine, as there’s certainly a generous sample of this. RRP £31.

body gel

ModelCo. Party Proof Lipstick in’Kitty’ – this lipstick looks fairly matte but actually has a nice sheen to it. This particular shade is a nice nude with a bit of a kick, so you definitely know you’re wearing something. It has a cinnamon shade to it and I’d say it’s a good all-day every-day colour. RRP £15.50 (for a set of 3)

lipstick

Bioderma ‘Sensibio H20’ – This transparent liquid is a non-rinse cleanser and make-up remover. Simple to use, apply to face and eyes with a cotton pad. I haven’t given this one a go yet, but like things to be delicate and fragrance-free around my eyes, which this is. RRP £9.99

Molton Brown Ylang-Ylang Body Lotion – As I’ve said before, I just love Molton Brown products, so this is always a winning addition to my Birchbox. This time I’ve got a nourishing body lotion to add to my collection with a refreshing fragrance of Ylang Ylang. This product sits alongside the body wash I received in my first Birchbox. RRP £18.00

Reverence de Bastien Nail Polish No14 – This particular shade is a little too dark for my liking. It’s a rich red-brown. Great autumnal colour so I will give it a go, but I probably wouldn’t have chosen it myself. Needs 2 coats and dries quickly which is a plus. Not cheap though. RRP £16.00

Green & Blacks White Chocolate – Well white chocolate is my favourite kind, so this got devoured immediately. I actually like eating my white chocolate whilst enjoying a nice white wine too…mmmmm. RRP £2.29

I’ll definitely keep signed-up for these little boxes of loveliness. Is anyone else receiving them? Did you get something different in yours?
