Home Trends I’m Loving

It feels like we’ve been “nearing the end” of our renovation for months now. The project has only run over by a few weeks in fact and we’ve not been rushing it, as we’ve had our current house to sell and a lot of work on!

Because we are finishing the renovation ourselves (ie. painting, decorating, styling), we also wanted to make sure we didn’t make any rushed decisions that we’d end up wanting to change in a few month’s time.

So I’ve been looking to interior and home magazines, blogs and good old Pinterest, for home trends that I can take inspiration from. We both have an electic sense of style, but one thing we both agree on, is that we want to create a sense of space in our new home and not clutter it with random things that we don’t really need.

Storage will be key! We don’t really want anything on show that we don’t like looking at!

Our Kitchen Design – The House Project

Ok, so we’re nearing the last leg of our home renovation (if you want to see a video walk-through check it out here) and it’s time to think about the interior design aspect of the house project, in particular…the kitchen design.

Our kitchen was one of the first things we chose (in fact, we chose it before we even officially owned the house!) and it’s also one of the main steering factors of the house project itself.
